Sunday!!! Do you love this building?  Do you have time to help us with care of this place? Are you handy and/or good with tools? We are forming a Maintenance Committee that would consist of folks who would assist with the care and upkeep of the Cathedral Facility.  Jim Waldie our faithful Maintenance Coordinator of 10 years is stepping down, and we need to put in place a team of volunteers who would meet regularly to address the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the facility.  Working in partnership with the wardens, our custodian and the office coordinator, the Maintenance Committee would set budget, prioritize ongoing maintenance needs, monitor the calendar upkeep schedules (fire alarm maintenance, sprinkler system upkeep, furnace and heating monitoring, etc). and oversee the day to day maintenance need of this large physical plant. We would also need a small circle of building “on-call” folks who would be our after hours contacts for emergent issues should they arise.  Curious?  Interested?  Join us for an information sharing meeting – (no commitment required at this point) just come and hear about the needs and the ministry/work.  The Maintenance Information meeting will be held Sunday December 14 after the 10 am service.  We will meet in the Chapel

Christmas Luncheon:  After the 10 AM service on Dec. 21 (next Sunday) there will be a pot luck Christmas luncheon. The church is providing the main course and parish members are asked to bring salads, appy’s or deserts to share.

Sunday School News:
Over the next few weeks and months, the St. Paul’s Sunday School will be involved in two outreach initiatives.  We welcome your participation in their giving.

The Sharing Tree: There is a special tree in the Sunday School Room.  We will adorn it weekly with sox, mitts, gloves and hats.  These items will be collected to put on the Sharing Tree for our shelter neighbors who come and share this same room on Wednesdays evenings. If you would like to participate in this outreach ministry and make a donation, there is a box in the Cathedral Entrance to receive your donations of hats, mitts, gloves and sox.  (no scarves please).  Let’s keep everyone warm and dry this winter!

THIS SUNDAY!!!! Christmas Shoe BoxesOur Sunday school class will work together to decorate and package shoe boxes to donate to the Boys and Girls Club in Kamloops. The Boys & Girls club will share these "stockings in a box" with children from lower income families throughout the holidays. We hope to fill a number of boxes suitable for both girls and boys between the ages of 5-12 years. Anything that you would find in a child's stocking would be appropriate to share. If you would like to participate in this outreach project bring small surprises to fill the boxes and place them in the donation basket in the Cathedral entranceway.
